I am a professionally qualified and experienced therapist, EMDR practitioner and clinical supervisor, and have held Accredited status with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) since 2011. I have extensive experience in a wide variety of both therapeutic and organisational settings.
My priority is to provide a safe space for you to explore what is going on in the here-and now, learn and move on from the past and re-focus on growing into the person you want to be.
I have special interests and experience in working with trauma and EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy method used to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression and panic disorders.
I currently work in person or online with people from age 13 upwards and I have considerable experience of working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and experiencing a broad range of issues. My level of qualification and experience allows me to individualise therapy to meet your specific needs
I also work as a management consultant for large corporations, helping them to enhance employee wellbeing, and I have designed and delivered bespoke training and workshops on mental health in the workplace for large and small organisations. As a qualified executive coach, I can also offer effective support to individuals on work related issues, management, employee relations and leadership.
I hold full Professional Liability and Indemnity Insurance and I practice in accordance with the BACP ‘Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions’.
My practice is in the city of Bath, and within easy reach of Bathford, Batheaston, Bathampton, Bradford-on-Avon, Bristol, Chippenham, Keynsham and Trowbridge.
